The service is great our pizza is always so fresh, my husband is from NY and will only it pizza from here, he said that is the closest to NY pizza.
I am not sure why the ratings on this Skipolini's are what they are. We had a great meal and the service was prompt. The lasagna I ordered was the best I've had in a long time. The pizzas we ordered were very good. The gluten free crust was very tasty. We will be back.
I've eaten here twice in this area! One was for a birthday dinner and the second was hosting my son's TK grad dinner. Both times were really yummy (at least to me!) I booked the rooftop for about 30 people (including kids) I absolutely love how attentive and friendly the servers are, they were very quick to make sure our food was to our liking and warm temps for the kids. Personally, I liked their red pasta, a fam favorite was the Parmesan chicken, calamari, wings, and ofc pizza! Loved their variety of desserts; gelato, cake, and tiramisu? I believe I got a package deal where everyone got to choose what they wanted. I loved the upstairs so much, the rooftop had lights, waterfall area, and just being away from the crowd to have a more intimate dining experience was worth it. Def come again for their white sauce pizza and parm chicken.

I would like to update my previous review, as the situation was handled with the utmost professionalism and integrity by restaurant manager Sydney. She heard about what happened with the gift card mixup and reached out to me on Yelp to offer to make things right. She credited my account with the missing gift card funds. We came in to the restaurant today to use the credits and were seated right away. We ordered a vegetarian pizza from our server, Meranda, who was also very friendly and helpful. The service was excellent and responsive. The pizza came out looking hearty and delicious, with generous fresh toppings and a perfectly crisp crust. My wife and I enjoyed our meal and the service. They showed us so much kindness and had the "we want to make this right" attitude the entire time. That's the way you win customers back. Sydney and Meranda did a fantastic job and because of them, we will continue patronizing and recommending this business. Skipolinis has great food at reasonable prices with good service. I deeply appreciate the manager's response to our previous experience. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Sydney!
Wow! What a total surprise form Skipolini's here at Oakley. We have seen branches of Skipolini's at Concord and Walnut Creek and decided to try it out when we were craving some pastas and pizza. The location at Oakley was also a former Italian restaurant. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and was warm and cozy. I do like the very inviting gelato cart in front of the restaurant, pulling you into having their classic yummy Italian dessert. Per usual, the kids had their peperoni pizza, whereas the adults had their Prego pizza. We also had their clam chowder and I had their Fettuccini de Pollo. First things first: their Fettuccini de Pollo was the bomb! The conglomeration of their creamy pesto sauce, sun dried tomatoes, artichokes, and wild mushrooms was such a delight. It is extremely flavorful and hearty. Without a doubt, this pasta is one of my top favorites in a long while. In a similar fashion, the Prego pizza is also delicious loaded with flavorful cuts of meat that brings the pie up a notch. The clam chowder was no slouch too. Overall, we had a great time at Skipolini's. The service was great, the food was excellent, and the ambiance ties everything together. I reckon I will bring my parents here to try out their yummy Italian food.
